GCSE Results

Soaring success for CCF students with best results ever!

This summer another cohort of talented students are celebrating receiving the best GCSE results the school has ever achieved! This builds on last year’s success which puts us on course again to be in the top 5% in the country for student progress (provisional analysis); and again highlights our commitment to pursing academic excellence for all.

With fantastic results across the board, below are some of the subject highlights:

  • 70% of Chemistry students achieved grade 7+
  • Biology/Chemistry/Physics:  60% of grades at 7+, with 82% at 6+
  • 1/3 of students achieved grade 7+ in English
  • 1/3 of students achieved grade 7+ in Maths
  • English 91% at 4+  79% at 5+
  • Maths 77% at 4+  58% at 5+
  • RE 91% 4+
  • PE and Art both 80% at 4+ 67% at 5+

After achieving these outstanding results, many of our students are now confirming their places for further study on a wide range of courses and we are delighted that CCF Sixth Form is firmly the destination of choice.

Head of Year 11, Mr Laird stated:

I am proud of every single one of our students today and I look forward to seeing what the next step of their journey has in store for them. The results across all subjects have been fantastic and are a testament to the hard work and perseverance of our students, parents and staff.

Samson Olusanya, Headteacher commented:
